Allow Domain but restrict page within domain

Postby powerdrives » Wed Mar 10, 2010 4:25 pm

How can I allow the domain mydomain.com, but restrict a page within the domain such as:

mydomain.com/somedir/index.asp

Set up an allow list and add your domain. Under the domain put your page (somedir/index.asp). Double click on the domain or press Edit and change the page filter type to Revoke List.

I did that but it doesn't work. Maybe missing something?

Under Browse/Access list there is one entry for mydomain.com. The Access Type is Allow List.

I click on mydomain.com and click Add Page.

I enter (no quotes) "/help/somedirectory/somefile.asp"

I double click the domain and I change the Page Filter Type to Revoke List and the icon for the page has a red X.

I Save Control/S

I launch or reboot and I can access the page.

If help is the first directory of the domain you cannot put a slash before it.
